the program
The Procurement Co Graduate program is a 12-month opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands on experience in procurement across both the public and private sectors. As a graduate, you will work on diverse projects, collaborate with major clients, work across a variety of industries and learn from leading procurement professionals.
What to expect:
- Work on procurement and contract management tasks across a diverse range of industries
- Gain exposure to government and private sector projects
- Contribute to pro bono work supporting social, Indigenous and non-profit enterprises
- Contribute to high-value procurement and contracting activities
- Support strategic consultancy projects, including transformation and optimisation
Key responsibilities
As a Procurement Co graduate you will never be bored! Each day you will be exposed to something new to ensure you are always learning and developing quickly.
Participate in meetings and workshops with clients and suppliers
Develop presentations, reports and process flows
Assist Procurement planning, tender and sourcing, and contract management activities
Conduct market research and industry benchmarking
Manage deadlines and time budgets for tasks
Build a working knowledge of Procurement frameworks, procedures and processes
Program Support
Over the course of the program you will have access to a variety of support systems to help guide your progress and development.

Check-ins to discuss goals, development, and share advice
- Manager
Discuss day to day work, capacity, progress and career interest
- Senior Manager
Oversees inductions, self-reflections, performance and HR
Program structure
The graduate program is broken down into 4 key phases, designed to build your capability and accelerate your professional development.

Application process
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from graduates (0–2 years post-completion) who hold a degree in:
- Commerce
- Business/ Management
- Finance
- Economics
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Law
- Or a related field
We also encourage applications from graduates with other relevant backgrounds who are interested in procurement.
Note: Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with full working rights.
